The beach of Randello is located inside the Nature Reserve of Randello, a protected area between Punta Braccetto and Scoglitti, along the southeastern coast of Sicily, 30 km from Ragusa. Constituted by a pine forest overlooking the sea, it offers a suggestive golden and uncontaminated beach, where you can find different types of shells. Ideal for those who love nature and tranquility. Legambiente and Touring Club Italiano have counted it among the most beautiful beaches in Italy and included it in the “Blue Guide 2014”.
The Nature Reserve of Randello
In ancient times it was a private game reserve, but now it hosts a forest of pine trees and many varieties of trees including oaks, cacti, eucalyptus, myrtles, cypresses and other species of Mediterranean plants. The reserve is surrounded by the ruins of some cemeteries belonging to the archaeological site of Kamarina.
