Brucoli

Brucoli beach

The beach of Brucoli, a seaside hamlet of Augusta, is located along the eastern coast of Sicily about 40 km north of Syracuse. It rises on a rocky promontory flanked by a channel, along which there are numerous natural caves. The conformation of the coast acts as a shelter to its blue and crystalline sea, keeping it almost calm. Brucoli is an ideal destination for those who love cliffs and go snorkeling. Not far from the cliff, there are several bars and restaurants. About 2 km from Brucoli, there is Baia di Arcile, a rocky inlet characterized by a pebble beach, overlooking the Gulf of Catania. Next to the beach, there are some rocky conformations, one of which takes the name of “ROCKSo della Tartaruga”, due to its shape that resembles a turtle.
