Not far from the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, you find this fascinating white cliff, which is now one of the most famous and popular seaside resorts in Sicily. To reach it you have to walk down a path that leads to a beach, from which you can admire from a distance the stunning white cliff. The long beach of fine and golden sand is free and served by some beach clubs that offer bars and beach equipment rentals. At the end of the beach the colossal white and smooth cliff rises. It is characterized by big large steps and a downhill ridge, on which you can sunbathe admiring the surrounding view. The bravest can try to plunge into the sea from the cliff, washed by beautiful blue waters. Going up the cliff, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the whole coast. While going down the other side, you can access a small and wild beach of golden sand, surrounded by high wall of white rock. However, you have to be very careful reaching the beach, because the path is a bit rough and quite narrow. Next to the main entrance to the beach of Scala dei Turchi there are several free and paying parking areas.
