This beach is located 16 km from Syracuse, along the eastern coast of Sicily, and owes its name to the many springs of fresh water that flow into the seabed. The charming beach of fine white sand, which stretches for about 3 km, is lapped by a blue and transparent sea with a shallow seabed. These features make Fontane Bianche one of the most fascinating beaches of the south east of Sicily.
Besides being a free beach, the coast offers several areas equipped with bars and beach clubs, some of which rent pedal boats and canoes. You can also play different types of water sports. The surrounding area is well served by bars, restaurants, supermarkets, discotheques, tennis courts and football pitches. During high season the resort may be crowded, but the extension of the beach allows you to enjoy its beautiful sea in total peace.
