The cliffs of Aci Castello extend along the eastern coast of Sicily, about 25 km from Catania. The sea that laps the beaches of this charming Sicilian town is particularly crystalline and full of inlets. The coast is characterized by black lava rocks, including small coves with deep waters rich in underwater life. The richness of the seabed makes it an ideal destination for snorkelers. The rocky beaches are equipped with comfortable boardwalks on which you can sunbathe. A huge and charming lava ridge surrounded by the sea dominates the landscape of Aci Castello and houses a Norman castle, now home to the Civic Museum. Aci Castello is part of a lava coastline known as “Riviera dei Ciclopi”.
